Advanced technology

The Brivis Advance Cooler is the latest innovation from Brivis, incorporating some of the advanced technologies developed from the Brivis Promina and Brivis Contour series. For example, the Brivis Advance incorporates the Brivis designed fan, maximizing airflow with quiet operation. The Brivis Advance decor panels are similar to the Brivis Promina series, resulting in a unit that is attractive on the roof.

When you turn your cooler on inside your home, the Brivis Advance begins its Pre-Wet cycle. The water enters the cooler and begins soaking the cooling pads before the fan starts. This ensures that when the fan does start, the pads will provide you with cool air inside your home immediately.

The Brivis Advance has a sloping water trough which keeps the water moving toward the pump and constantly circulating through the system, keeping it fresh and clean and reducing the weight of the cooler on the roof.

Brivis coolers use a pump which sits in its own waterproof chamber, ensuring that the pads are soaked in clean water all the time. The SynchroDrive pump is designed to be self cleaning by spinning in the opposite direction to clear blockages, if they occur

The water is pumped into the unique Brivis Aqua-Duct. With large channels and drain holes, every pad is saturated, evenly and quickly. Once the pads are saturated, the fan turns on.

The Brivis Advance has a variable speed fan which gives you a wide range of speeds and allows the cooler to run much slower than other coolers. This is great on a hot night when all you want is a gentle breeze to keep you cool so you can get to sleep.

In the Brivis Advance, the AutoRefresh water management system controls the amount of clean water added to the system. Once a pre-determined number of fill cycles have been completed the cooler will automatically flush the entire tank and refill it with clean water. While the water is being refreshed the cooler continues to operate, unlike coolers that use a dump and fill cycle to refresh the tank water.

When cooling is no longer required the Brivis Advance will automatically run the FreshStart operation which means there is no dirty water or sediment sitting in the cooler before it starts up again.

Options

The Brivis Advance has several different options, colours and models to choose from so that you can select the right cooler for your needs.  The Brivis Advance has three controller options - the Brivis Networker, the Brivis Programmable Controller or the Brivis Manual Controller.  The Brivis Advance can also be fitted with a Winterseal to prevent heat escaping in winter.

The shape of the Brivis Contour's base means it holds up to a third less water than other coolers, saving valuable water during the hot Australian summer months.

What is BAL?

BAL refers to ‘Bushfire Attack Level’. From 11 March 2009, the Australian Standard 3959-2009 requires new and replacement homes to be designed, constructed and located with improved bushfire protection.

If you intend to build, renovate or repair a home in a bushfire prone area, the work will need to take the standard into account. Your builder, designer or architect will advise you on how best to achieve this.  If you are unsure whether your building work needs to comply, contact the relevant local Council's Municipal Building Surveyor or a Private Building Surveyor.

Brivis AD BAL

The Brivis AD BAL Evaporative Cooler complies with the highest level requirement of AS 3959-2009 Construction of Buildings in Bushfire Prone Area, up to Bushfire Alert Level (BAL) 29.*

You're in control

To give you maximum control over the way you cool your house, we have three compact wall controllers to choose from. Available in manual and automatic models, each controller is easy to read, unobtrusive and technologically advanced, without being unnecessarily complicated to use.

The Networker is the only cooler wall controller on the market that uses advanced Electro-Luminescence (EL) technology to clearly and uniformly backlight the display screen.

Other features include text messages keeping you informed of the coolers operation, a "kiddie" lock and the ability to control your Brivis heater form the same controller.
